Funeral Service for Mrs. Juanita Johnson,87, of Monroe, LA will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 23, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson passed away on August 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Assisted Living. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cora Riser; and 2 brothers, Howard and Henry Riser.
Survivors include her son, Winston Sims and wife Ann; grandchildren, Robert Sims and wife Joyce; Mark Sims and Wife Lana; Wendi Tilmon and husband John; great grandchildren, Shelby Sims, Ronni, Sean and Sarah Tilmon, Easton and Sterling Sims and Alex Johnson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
Many thanks to Ellen Jones and Annie Thomas for their kindness and loving care of my mother during this time of her illness. Special thanks to Hospice Compassus and their staff in her time of need and to her special friend, James Hendrixson.
Visitation will be 5:00 till 7:00 PM Sunday August 22, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.
