Funeral Services for Mrs. Judith Ann Childress Mann, 64, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Judy was born on November 11, 1948 and began telling funny stories in Heaven on April 21, 2013. A treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, registered nurse and friend, she loved people and life and especially loved being with her grandchildren. Judy owned and operated Judy Mann Consulting for many years. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Vercie and Devonne Childress.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Mann; daughter, Monica Coplin and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Jackson and Anna Claire Coplin; sister, June Reitzell and husband, John; brother, Russell Childress and wife, Margarida; brother-in-law, Bobby Mann and wife, Monica; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Richmond, Justin Caples, Luke Childress, Marc Shellshear, Hunter Long, and Micheal Blocker.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Richmond, Anthony Perkins, and Kevin Caston.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at McClendon Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
