Funeral Services for Mrs. June Muirhead, 74, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA with Rev. Milton Pray officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Muirhead was born on May 15, 1936 in Pushamataha County, OK and passed away on November 21, 2010 at her residence in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. June loved fishing and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Richard Muirhead.
Survivors include her children, Steven Rosenberry, Mitch Rosenberry, Darrell Rosenberry, and Regina Markham; step-daughter, Wanda Pugh; grandchildren, Claire Rosenberry, Maudie Rosenberry, Gracie Rosenberry, Sara Rosenberry, Natasha Pugh and Josh Pugh; four great grandchildren; brothers, J.D. Moore, Leon Moore and Mack Moore.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 26, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
She's the whisper of the leaves as we walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach in our freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on our brow when we are not well.
Our mother lives inside our laughter.
She's crystallized in every tear drop.
She's the place we came from, our first home.
She's the map we follow with every step that we take.
