Funeral services for Mr. Junior Lee Toney, 68, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. 
Mr. Toney passed away Friday, May 30, 2008. He was a retired Master Sergeant, serving twenty-two years and six months in the Army. He was employed at Wye Electric for twenty-four years. 
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Dagmar Baumann Toney; daughter, Cherry Brewer of Baton Rouge, LA; son, Jason Toney and wife Linda of Vicksburg, MS; grandchildren, Hannah Toney, Gabriella Toney, and Zachary Toney, all of Vicksburg, MS and Lauren Brewer Palovchak of Kansas City, MO; sisters, June Wolleson of Winnsboro, LA, Clara Nettles of Monroe, LA, Elaine Leake of Winnsboro, LA, Jeanette Slaughter of Vicksburg, MS; brothers, Walton Toney of Delhi, LA, William “Buddy” Toney of West Monroe, LA, and Ralph Toney of Winnsboro, La. 
Pallbearers will be Jim Counselman, Kevin Goyne, Faron Wyles, Murphy Wyles, Bobby Summerhill, and Josh Young. 
Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
