Katheryn McMurray Canady

Funeral Services for Mrs. Katheryn Brown McMurray Canady, 87 of Crowville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Rev. Raymond Beard officiating.  Interment will follow in Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
     Mrs. Canady was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She loved caring for her family.  She was a member of Bethany Worship Center.  Her favorite pastimes were being with her family, gardening, and reading.
     Mrs. Canady was preceded in death by her first husband; Louis McMurray, her parents; Ed and Lela Brown, her sister; Mattie Gill, her brothers; LeeRoy and Harold Brown, and step-daughter; Shirley Canady Creel.
     Mrs. Canady is survived by her loving husband; Paul Canady, her daughters; Edith McMurray and Kathy McMurray, her son; Jimmy McMurray and wife Sandra, step-son; Sam Canady and wife Jean, step-daughters,  Betty Canady, Sandra and husband Robin Renner, Amy and husband Rhon McManus, Paula Jenkins and husband David, sister; Hilda Hodge, special cousin and friend; Alton McKeithen, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
     Pallbearers will be:  Jody Jones,  Billy Olivo,  Todd Canady,  Al Bryan,  Eddie Ray Bryan, and Jesse O’Neal.
     Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22nd, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
