Funeral Services for Mr. Kermit C. Paylor, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 24, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Don DeLukie, Randy Ray and Travis Bookout officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Paylor was born on August 19, 1932 and passed away on March 21, 2014. He was a very active member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ in Monroe, LA. He also served in the United States Army. He loved walking and reading. Mr. Paylor is preceded in death by his parents, John Harvey Paylor, Sr. and Eula Belle Corley Paylor; and by his siblings, Audrey Paylor, John Harvey Paylor, Jr., Edward Wright Paylor and Claudine Suomi.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Anne Arrant Paylor; son, Richard W. Paylor of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Paylor, Stephanie Paylor both of North Carolina and Richard Allen Paylor of Virginia; six great grandchildren; and numerous cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
Memorials may be made to the Jackson Street Church of Christ or to the charity of your choice.
