Kyle "Tiger" Brown

March 9, 1970 — August 10, 2021

Funeral Services for Mr. Kyle “Tiger” Brown, 51, of Los Gatos, CA, formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Marcus Akers and Rev. Justin Akers officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop, LA.

Tiger was born March 9, 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on August 10, 2021 in Los Gatos, California at his home. He served in the United States Army National Guard and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Northeast Louisiana University. After receiving his degree, he headed to California where he resided for the last 27 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Edward Brown.

Survivors include his mother, Delores DelRio Brown; sister, Deidre Akers and husband Marcus; nephew, Easton Akers; as well as several special family members and countless dear friends.

Tiger was, as many have said, a force of nature. To adequately describe him and sum up his life in a few paragraphs is impossible. He was a passionate man and gave himself wholly to his family, friends, career, hobbies (especially music) and anything he was involved in. To say that he was an avid San Francisco Giants fan and a Chicago Cubs fan is an understatement. He was extremely loving, very giving, hilariously witty, and absolutely one of the coolest people on the planet. He had a unique gift of connecting immediately with just about anyone. If you met him once, you felt as if you had known him for years. Tiger loved golf, traveling, was the life of any party or gathering, had an eclectic taste in music and loved his friends and family fiercely. He was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed but I know he is enjoying heaven with our Dad, who happened to also be his best friend.

Pallbearers will be Travis Patterson, Bobby Joest, Jason DeWees, Tim Hitt, Bryan Adair and Jason Wiggins.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
