Memorial services for Mrs. Leah Ann Hudson, 88, of Columbus, OH formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 26, 2009, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson passed away at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on December 31, 2008, after a short illness.
Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Daughters, Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Robert Taylor Hudson, Jr., a retired division engineer for Canadian National/Illinois Central and prominent member of the Knights of Columbus. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Robert Hudson III and his wife Maureen of Ponchatoula, LA; her daughter, Claudia Fleming of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Robert Taylor Hudson IV, Thomas Phillips, and Camille Fleming. She is remembered with love by her niece, Cheryl Marcotte Tilton and nephew, Frank Marcotte, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
