Funeral service for Mrs. Lena Mae Boyd, 82, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, September 25, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Sebastian Kallarackal officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd passed away on September 22, 2008 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Boyd; son, Thomas Henry Boyd, and brother, Vincent Charles Giovingo.
Survivors include her two sons, John Boyd and wife Beverly and Robert B. Boyd, Jr. and Debbie Marsala both of West Monroe, LA; brother, Louis Giovingo of Monroe, LA; two granddaughters, Pamela Boyd; and Becky Haughton of Vidalia, LA; and great grandson, Thomas Henry Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Vince Giovingo, Tommy Giovingo, Andre Pridgett, Danny Lenard, Donald Armstrong, and Barney Harris.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
