Mr. Miletello was born November 5, 1918 in Maringouin, LA and passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Mr. Leon and Ms. Katie were the owners of Leon’s Grocery for thirty-two years in West Monroe. He actively worked with the Lions Club, and Amvets. Papa, as he was called by his grandchildren, loved to catch white perch better than anyone. You never went to visit without leaving with a bag full of green beans, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, or what ever vegetable that was in season. He fought a hard battle with cancer, never giving up. He leaves memories of happy events, funny fishing stories, unique phrases, and the most loving family anyone could ever wish for.
