Funeral Services for Lucy Howard Ramsey, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 1, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Will Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA.
Lucy Howard Ramsey was born July 10, 1937 and passed away on February 26, 2013. She was a member of New Hope Worship Center. Lucy enjoyed retirement and spending time traveling with Mayo Tours, keeping the casino’s open and the bingo halls a hollerin’.
Survivors include her children, Dennis Johnston and Kathy Porter and husband, Billy Joe Porter; grandchildren, Amanda Johnston, Jessica Gregory and husband, Randall, Issac Howell and wife, Natalie, and DeSay Howell and wife, Krista; great grandchildren, Peyton, Remington, Rainey and Hampton; sisters, Beth Alexander and Pat Hill, and the other two musketeers, Tilly Lynch and Patty Martin.
Pallbearers will be David Hill, Greg Hill, Mark Hill, Robert “Truck” Johnson, Willie Johnson and Michael Rusks. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Baskin and Randall Gregory.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Police Officer Memorial.
