Funeral Services for Mrs. Margie Lee Davis, 81, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Point Assembly of God Church in Downsville, LA, with Rev. Louis Bartett officiating. Interment will follow in Ruggs Bluff Cemetery in Downsville, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Margie Lee Davis was born December 23, 1939 and passed away August 28, 2021. She was a member of Point Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Margie loved being outdoors and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. “Chuck” Johnson; and brother, Bill Acree.

Survivors include her husband, Alton Simon; sons, Paul Johnson and Perry Johnson; daughter-in-law, Kim Johnson; grandchildren, Jamie Charles Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Michelle Mercer, Blake Johnson, Lauren Johnson, and Na’Kiyh Johnson; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters, Joann Banks, Gay Southern, and Linda Simpson; brother, Charles Acree; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
