Marvin Wayne Jones

Funeral services for Marvin Wayne Jones, 69, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 20, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Bishop Bennie Jones officiating.

Marvin enjoyed going to the Rebel Lunch Bunch and going to lunch with his friends at Granny’s. He loved fishing and watching old western movies. Marvin was a talented musician and baseball player.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Cynthia Emily Elizabeth; and four siblings, Leonard Jones, Evelyn Basey, Lavelle Jones, and Glen “Doc” Jones.

Survivors include his daughters, Beth Redl and husband Larry Shappley II, and Sarah Jones; grandchildren, Emily Redl (Tyler) and their children Grant and Oliver, and Andrea Redl (Dillon) and their son Drew Demoss and Caden Jones; brother, Albert Jones; along with numerous friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
