Funeral services for Mary Helen Freeman, 68, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday February 20, 2009 at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA.
Mrs. Freeman died February 17, 2009 in West Monroe. She was retired from the State of Louisiana as a registered nurse. Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church and the Septieme Book Club. She enjoyed cooking and hosting people in her home. Mrs. Freeman loved music and playing the piano for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Robbie Freeman and wife Vickie, John David Freeman and wife Melinda, and Amy C. Munholland; grandchildren, Allison, Paige, Hannah, Alyssa, Grant, Tyler and Ellie and numerous friends.
Pallbearers will be Todd Washer, Brian Tarver, Cliff Tarver, Jamie Wilhite, Johnny Pace and Frank Saunders.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Ken Griswold.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time Friday at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church or the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
