Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Hall, 102, of Bastrop, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Terry Mims and Rev. Doug Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Loch Arbor Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at home with her family. She was a member of Fairbanks Baptist Church where she served faithfully as long as she was able.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Hall; children, Dorothy Langston, Mary Ingram, Eugene Hall, and Barney Hall, Jr.
Survivors include her three daughters, Doris Hofford of Bastrop, LA, Emilie Jinks of West Monroe, LA, and Shirley Stewart of Bossier City, LA; two sons, W. D. Hall of Rockford, IL, and G. W. Hall of Fairbanks, LA; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Truman Hollie of Senatobia, MS.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2008, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
