Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Jane Moss, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 4, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Neil Everett and Rev. Walter Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery.
Mrs. Moss was born on April 1, 1924 in Bastrop, LA and died on December 31, 2012 in Ruston, LA. She was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Moss is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert O. Moss and daughter, Rebecca Jane Moss.
Survivors include her son, Robert Moss; sister, Lenny Moore; grandchildren, Randall Allen Platt, Mary Catherine Herren, Lee Moss, and Christopher Garvin; and great grandchild, Philip Anthony Herren.
Pallbearers will be David Turner, Scott Moore, John Paul Reiger, Jerry Don Aulds, Jansen Mays, and Fred King.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Service Time on Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to Dr. Robbie Marx, Dr. Don Hammett, Dr. Henry Zizzi, to Mrs. Moss’s nurse, David Turner, her Sunday school class and the members of First Baptist Church Calhoun, LA and to her good friend and neighbor, Shirley King.
