Mary Louise Pettigrew Clark

Funeral services for Mary Louise Pettigrew Clark, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 25, 2011, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. David Richter, Rev. Matthew Long, and Msgr. Edmund Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Clark, retired manager of the Twin City Catholic Credit Union, was born April 20, 1927 in Oklahoma City, OK and died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Christus St. Joseph’s Home. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, and a lifetime volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary. Mrs. Clark enjoyed sewing, crafts, and playing Pokeno and Skip-Bo with family and friends.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Elizabeth Pettigrew ; husband, Robert Earl Clark, Sr.; and daughter, Theresa Clark Marsala.

Survivors include her children, Robert Clark, Jr. and wife Veronica of Illinois, Jim Clark and wife Linda of Tennessee, Donald Clark and wife Linda of Downsville, and Deborah Clark Pritchard and husband Michael of Monroe; son-in-law, Tommy Marsala, Sr. of Monroe; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and a Vigil Wake Service at 6:30 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Greg Green and Staff, Dr. Frank Weinholt and Staff, Christus St. Joseph’s Home, and St. Joseph Hospice.
