Funeral Services for Mrs. Melba Biggs, 71, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Rick Crandall officiating. Private internment will follow at Acree Cemetery in Point, LA.
Mrs. Biggs was born September 18, 1937 in Point, LA, and passed away on July 21, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. She attended McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Melba is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Velma Biggs, brother, Wayne Biggs and nephew, Chris Wink.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria Wink and husband Benny, sister-in-law, Nancy Biggs, nephew, Tracy Lee Biggs, numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday July 23, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
