Mickey Elaine Long

Funeral services for Mickey Elaine Long, 66, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 31, 2012, at New Light Baptist Church with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Long passed away Monday, May 28, 2012. She owned and operated The Gingerbread House and sold gift baskets.

Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her father, Clint T. French; and niece, Shelley Sandefur.

Survivors include her husband, David W. Long; sons, Anthony (Tony) White and Robert (Robbie) B. Long and wife Sherry; daughter, Stephanie White Henderson and husband Mike; mother, Charlene French; sisters, Sharon Sandefur, Angela Gaye French, and Melissa French; brothers, Richard French and David (Tommy) French; four grandchildren, Steven White, Jessica White, Christian Doan, and Anthony White; three great grandchildren, Carly White, Elizabeth Bryan, and Emmaliegh Doan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven White, Scott Sandefur, Chad French, Clay McCaskle, and Kenneth Sandefur.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to New Light Baptist Church.
