Graveside services for Mrs. Mildred McConnell Wahrenbrock, 88,of Austin, TX will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Gwin Cemetery in
Mangham, LA internment to follow in the family plot with Rev. Marshall Sevier officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA

Mrs. Mildred passed away on June 30, 2001, in Austin, TX. She was born in 1922 to Massey Dewitt and Clara Humble McConnell in Mangham LA. Her
educational career started at Ruston La. at what was then known as Louisiana Polytechnic Institute, now LA Tech University, during World War II. After
graduating with a degree in Home Economics, Mildred was employed by the Louisiana Extension Service as a home demonstration agent. She later
joined the faculty at Start High School in Start. LA. She also had other teaching positions in California and Texas. After 15 years of service as a Home Ec.
teacher at Wedgwood Middle School in Fort Worth, she retired in 1985. In retirement Mildred and her husband Les volunteered at Harris Methodist
Hospital and were active in the First Methodist Church of Fort Worth, TX. They were fortunate to be able to travel extensively and saw many parts of
the world together.

Mildred is predeceased by her husband Lester Wahrenbrock, her parents and a brother Massey Douglas McConnell. Survivors include daughters,
Donna Domingo and husband Doug of Austin, TX, Diane Loomis and husband Erik of Hancock, NH, Anne Wahrenbrock of San Diego, CA., Scott
Wahrenbrock, wife Judie and grandchildren, Taylor and Ian of Chapel Hill, NC and Stuart Wahrenbrock and wife Brenda of San Diego, CA. She
also leaves two Grandsons, Brandon Davis and wife Angella of Dallas, TX and Jason Davis of Austin, TX, and a sister Patricia McConnell Taylor
and husband William of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in her memory to the Memorial Fund at First United Methodist Church, 800 W. 5th, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, July 4,2011 at the funeral home.
