Monte Wayne McGough

Funeral services for Monte Wayne McGough, 62, of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Jimmy Yocum and Rev. Shane Nugent officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. McGough, a roofing contractor, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Mr. McGough was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Glen McGough.

Survivors include his two children, son Brent McGough and wife Angelle, and daughter Brandi Landwehr and husband Billy; parents, Jessie and Monte McGough; grandchildren, Trevor, Hannah, and Hailey; two brothers, Danny McGough and wife Caren, and Kenny McGough; sisters, Sandra Nugent and husband Terry, and Karen Navarro and Johnnie; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Pallbearers will be Keith McGough, Ken Barnes, Jerry Barnes, Jamey Morrison, Chad Navarro, Cole McMillian, Greg McGough, Bruce McDaniel, and Jesse LaDart.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
