Funeral services for Ms. Bessie Mae Evans Lowrey, 77, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
Ms. Lowrey passed away on May 29, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Lowrey and son, Roy Allen Lowrey.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Lytle and husband Paul; son, Jackie Lowrey and wife Barbara all of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lowrey, Jay Lytle, Misty Bass, Lindsey Lytle, and Dixie Broadway; five great grandchildren; sister, Eula Mae Nobles; two brothers, Ernest “Reese” Evans and Melvin Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brandon, Chad, Denny, and David Lowrey, Darrell Porter, and Jared Poole. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis and Randy Lowrey.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
