Mrs. Elve Lu Brown
November 16, 1930 — September 22, 2011
Graveside services for Mrs. Elve Lu Brown, 80, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Dale Walker officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Immediately following the services, friends are invited to Bob and Ann Brown’s residence on Marie Place in Monroe.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, September 22, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Lu attended Southwestern Louisiana University in Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coach Charles Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas D. Brown and wife, Sandy, Robert C. Brown and wife, Ann and William R. Brown; grandchildren, Todd Brown and wife, Vanessa, Ginny Montgomery and husband, Joe King, Brett Brown and fiancé, April Williams, Zachary Brown and Zane Brown; great grandchildren, Hunter Brown and Sienna Brown
