Services for Mrs. Jewel D. Lee, 90 of Newellton, LA will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Newellton with Rev. Scott Byrd and Rev. Larry Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Lee was a life-time member of First Baptist Church in Newellton. She was also a retired school bus driver and passed away on December 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Knile Lee, Sr., her brother Joe McClain and sister, Dorothy McClain Carter. Survivors include:3 Children: Ernest Knile Lee, Jr. and wife Lynette of Woodville, MS.Kay Caroon of Baton Rouge, LA.Billy Lee and wife Susan of Pineville, LA.Sister: Helen Breckheart of Hobbs, N.M.Brother: Jackie McClain and wife Bobbie of Newellton, LA.She left this Earth with her good friend Ralph Cooper.6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Tommy Tullos, Randy McDonald, Carroll Fuller, Ricky Foster, Ricky Jones, and Jeremy Benson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church—Newellton, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till time of service on Thursday, Dec. 4th at First Baptist Church—Newellton, LA.
