Myra Kathryn ScottFuneral services for Myra Kathryn Scott, 71, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July, 27, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. A private family interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens, Calhoun, LA.Mrs. Scott died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She retired from the Ouachita Parish School System and taught at Central Elementary School in Calhoun, LA. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, West Monroe, LA.Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents Frank Edward and Daisy Irene Peske; husband, Clayton David Scott; and sister, Rilla Wilson.Survivors include her sister, Barbara P. Wood; three brothers, Frank Peske, David Peske, and Gene Peske; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, prior to service.Arrangements under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
