Ms. Audie B. Brown

Ms. Audie B. Brown, an 89 year old lifelong resident of the Monroe, LA area and a founding member of the Eagles Nest Church slipped peacefully into glory at 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012.  Ms. Brown was lovingly surrounded by her family at the time of her departure. 

Ms. Audie is survived by her daughter Dr. Clarice Fluitt, son-in-law Dr. George Fluitt, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, two sisters Louise Hennen and Gayla Faye Rogers, and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Brown’s home going celebration will include a visitation on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., and followed by the interment at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, 623 East Highway 80, 3 miles east of Lakeshore. 

Pall bearers will be her grandson, Trey Fluitt, great grandsons Garrett Fluitt, Hunter Fluitt, Luke Fluitt, Breck McKnight, and grandson-in-law James Rasberry. 

The visitation, celebration of life, and fellowship luncheon following the interment will take place at the Eagles Nest Church, 1300 Finks Hideaway Rd., Monroe, LA. 71203.
