Pauline Haney Burkett Strange

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pauline Haney Burkett Strange, 85 of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Pastor Nathan Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Strange was born March 13, 1926 and died January 20, 2012. She was a member of Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe. Pauline was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge of West Monroe where she was coordinator of the swimming pool. She was a beautician in the 1950’s and until her retirement, Pauline was the operator for Wal-Mart Super Center in Monroe. Her pride and joy was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Survivors include: daughter, Judy Dunn; sister, Edith May Dyke; step-children, Willie Kerrigan and wife Carol, Charles “Bo” Strange, Glen Strange, Kenny Chilton and wife Janice, and Frances Balance and husband Bo; grandchildren, Ricky Dunn and wife Lori, Trina Dunn, Brett Dunn and wife Pam; and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Dunn, Brett Dunn, James Dunn, Wayne Hart, Willie Kerrigan, and Glen Strange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
