Funeral services for Randy Burgess, 60, of Start, LA will be at 2 PM Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Wren officiating. Interment will be in Start Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville, LA.
Randy, a member of Rayville First Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 in Monroe, LA. He loved music and the 4 by Grace Quartet. He attended Start High School and was always happy to see everyone, welcoming them with a smile and a handshake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gladys Green Burgess and a sister, Rebecca Burgess Wasson. He is survived by his brother, Kent Burgess, sister, Melba Sullivan and her husband James, all of Start, LA, niece, Cynthia Sullivan Clarke and her husband Dwight of Delhi, LA, nephews, Malcolm Wasson and Stephen Wasson both of Start, LA.
Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Rayville First Baptist Church Building fund.
