Retired Master Sgt. Patrick T. Quirk

Memorial visitation for Retired Master Sgt. Patrick T. Quirk, 70, of Monroe, will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Memorial services and internment will follow at a later date.

Retired Master Sgt. Quirk passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his residence. He served as a ROTC instructor for five years in Eudora, AR and later moved to Monroe and served 18 years as the ROTC instructor at Ouachita High School.  He retired as a Master Sergeant as a 20 year Marine Veteran and served in Vietnam.

Retired Master Sgt. Quirk was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Edith Quirk.

Survivors include his wife, Bennie “Beje” Quirk; his sons, Michael P. Quirk and wife Angela, Andrew E. Quirk and wife Christy; daughter, Mary Henderson and husband Gregory; grandsons, Early and Beau Henderson, Izaiah Quirk; granddaughter, Rubie Quirk; and brother, Harry Williams.

Memorials may be made to the ROTC Scholarship Program.
