A funeral mass will be celebrated for Mr. Robert E. Moore, 83, of West Monroe, LA at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Al Merz officiating. Interment will be in St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Moore born on November 21, 1929 in Markleville, Indiana and died September 19, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Moore was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe. He was a retired supervisor at General Motors with over 35 years of service. Bob was very active in the Knights of Columbus; he was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Denyse Moore; daughters, Sara Woodruff, Ann Sadler and husband, Mike, Margaret Moore and Jeanne Mitchell and husband, Carl; sons, Robert J. Moore and wife, Eileen and Thomas J. Moore and wife, Beth; 13 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bob Moore, Tom Moore, Bobby Moore, Colin Woodruff, Paul Woodruff, Joshua Sadler, Matt Maggio and Johnny Forsell.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday with a Vigil Wake Service beginning at 6:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
