Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Irving Arant, 71, of Rocky Branch, LA will be held at 10:00AM Monday, November 25, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rocky Brach, LA with Bro. Brian McAllister officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Arant was born on October 6, 1942 and passed away on November 21, 2013 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Ann Ford Arant; parents, William Arthur “Dub” Arant and Callie Ouchley Arant.
He is survived by his children; Sherry Arant Kilcrease, Jerry Arant and wife Rhonda, Steven Arant, Douglas Arant, Crystal Arant and fiancé Brian Arceneaux; grandchildren, Jerry Allan Arant and wife Jessie, Waylon Arant, Tara Arant, Josh Kilcrease and wife Santana, Tyler Gorden and Hadlie Walker; great-grandchildren, Chase and Megan Arant, Jacob and Sage Arant, Aden and Lillian Kilcrease, Koli Arant, Matthew Kruse, and Caroline Davis; one beloved and very special sister, Callie Louise Weatherford; niece, Kim Haynes and husband Ted; and nephew, Tommy Langley and wife Kim.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rocky Branch.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice Legacy for the care they gave Mr. Arant during his illness.
