Graveside services for Roberta Fires Parker, 89 of Oak Ridge will be 10:00AM Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Start Cemetery in Start, LA. Burial will follow there under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Roberta was born on April 22, 1929 in Shelby, TN and passed away in Monroe. She loved to ride all over the countryside. She loved her family. She took care of everyone. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone. She loved to walk a mile every day.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Parker; her parents, William Roy and Lena Drummond Fires; and a brother, Ray Hardy.
She is survived by a son, Denis Parker and wife Cathy of Oak Ridge; two grandchildren, Bradley Antley and wife Taylor of Gerard and Robert Poe and wife Linda of Calhoun; seven great grandchildren, Kalina, Kayla, John, Livvie, Layna, Jordan, and Hunter; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00PM Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville.
