Funeral service for Mr. Rocco Battaglia, 89, of Swartz, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, December 31, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Ken Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery.
Mr. Battaglia passed away on December 28, 2011 in Monroe, LA. He and his wife Chere were married on August 19, 1976. Mr. Battaglia was a Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local 659.
Survivors include his wife of 35years, Chere Battaglia; two daughters, Paulette Mixon and husband Jan and Rebecca and husband Steve Elder; brother, Elmer Battaglia and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
