Services for Rogers Smith, 78, of Monroe, LA will be 10 AM Monday January 31, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Willoughby officiating, Internment to follow in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery Winnsboro, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA
Mr. Smith was a member of Calvary Baptist Church Monroe, he was a vending operator for 45 years and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Smith and Ora Lee Newton Smith, a son Rickey Smith and a brother Cecil Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Eunice Leonard Smith of Monroe, LA, granddaughter Crystal Smith, grandson Shawn Smith, great grandson Trent White, brother, Bubba Smith, sisters Esta Pace and Earline Smith.
Pallbearers will be Larry Banks, Glen Banks, Kenny Banks, Kevin Banks, Bubba Smith, Jr. Mark Roberts and Trent White.
Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
