Funeral Mass for Mrs. Rosina Marie Lisotta “RoRo” Hays, 76, of Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Watson, Msgr. Edmund Moore, and Fr. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.
RoRo was born June 29, 1934 in Monroe, LA and passed away August 17, 2010 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe and retired from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Computing Department.
She is preceded in death by her husband, T. Patrick Hays, Sr.; son, Phillip Charles Hays; parents, Phillip and Mica Lisotta; and brother, Lucas Phillip Lisotta.
RoRo is survived by her daughters, Mica "Mickey" Bennett and her husband Al, Susan Hays; sons, Frank Hays, and Pat Hays, Jr.; grandchildren, Heather Harper, Amanda Hays, Beaux Hays and fiancée Jamie Wessler, Danielle Hays, Tommy Hays and his wife, Julie, Hayley Hays; great-grandchildren, Nathan Phillip Hays, Bennett Wessler Hays, Campbell Lee Hays; daughter-in-law, Michele Hays, sister-in-law, Sally Vanderlick of Cheneyville, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Patrick DeMers, Christopher DeMers, Vince Giovingo, Gus Antis, Dr. Julian Rose, Dr. Michael Vanderlick, and James Hays. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday with a Rosary being said at 4:30 PM Friday, August 20, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
