Funeral Services for Ruby Lee McKinney, 93, of West Monroe, LA will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe.
Mrs. Ruby was born on November 7, 1917 in Monticello, AR and passed away October 20, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She worked with her mother at Kirby’s Grocery store She is preceded in death by her husband, Odos McKinney; daughter, Ouida Bolenbarker; and son, James Odos McKinney.
She is survived by her daughters, Freida Taylor, Emma Lee Anderson, and Alice Jane Young; son, Raymond T. McKinney; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Friday, October 21, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
