Russell Etheridge

Services for Mr. Russell B. Etheridge, 81 of Winnsboro, will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 14, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro, with Bro. George Bates and Bro. Shawn Hornsby officiating. Interment will follow in Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.Mr. Etheridge was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved to sing in the choir, go to ball games, loved spending time with grandchildren at the ball games. He loved to travel and eat out at restaurants, and loved people and visiting. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Adams Etheridge, his parents; James and Margaret Bradley Etheridge, 4 brothers; James Burks Etheridge, Jr., Hunter Bradley Etheridge, Faye Buie Etheridge, and John Caleb Etheridge, and aunt, Alice Walters.Survivors include: Son, Dale Etheridge and wife Rhonda,daughter, Joanna Haring and husband Terry, all of Winnsboro, 4 grandchildren; Jodie Russell and husband Josh, Josh Etheridge, Caleb Haring, and Mary Grace Haring, and 2 great-grandchildren; Anna Claire Russell, and Evan Russell.Pallbearers are: Doug Etheridge, Caleb Haring, Austin Comier, Larry Hebert, Josh Russell, Dixon Abell, Jonathan Chapell, Jeff Wright, Barron Gill, and David DeBlieux.Honorary Pallbearers are: Employees of Ouachita Fertilizer, and Josh Etheridge. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 13th at First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro.Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Ogden Cemetery.
