Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth L. Johnson, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Bob Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA.
Mrs. Johnson was born November 2, 1931 in Dubach, LA and passed away on November 24, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Monroe and a member of Watson Church in West Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Newton Johnson.
She is survived by her children, R. Elaine Johnson, Robert Wayne Johnson, Jimmy Lane Johnson and his wife, Cathy, and James Glen Johnson and his wife, Mary; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Sam Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren and special friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, November 26, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
