Private Family graveside services for Ruth Topsy Lenard Salsbury Long, 93, of Monroe will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the cemetery of the Bosco Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating.
Mrs. Long was born on November 30, 1927 in Ouachita Parish Louisiana and passed away at home in her sleep on January 22, 2021. She was a member of Rowland Road Baptist church, a devout Christian that loved the Lord. Her life’s successes were not measured by wealth, but by the love she shared with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents J.B. and Dolly Lenard, her two sisters Lillian Avery and Minnie Phegly, her son, Glen Salsbury, her husband and father of her children, W.L. Salsbury and her husband Neil Long.
She is survived by her son Wayne Salsbury and wife Loretta, daughters Linda McCaskill and husband Roy, Janice Hinton and husband Dennis; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rowland Road Baptist Church.
