Funeral Services for Sherry Rogers Woodall, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. George Wortham officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery.Sherry was born on January 26, 1946 in Monroe, LA and passed away after battling a lengthy illness on July 27, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She was a lifelong resident of West Monroe and member of Highland Presbyterian Church. Sherry worked for the Ouachita Council on Aging for over 25 years and a patron of the West Ouachita Council on Aging. She was a courageous woman and never lost heart during her illness. Sherry was a Godly woman and took great comfort from her faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thadius Cortez Rogers and Pauline Rogers Danna.Survivors include her husband of 36 years, James W. Woodall; daughters, Trina L. Wagley, Tina Ikemyre and husband Jeff and Debbie Jones and husband Jodi; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Rogers and Dennis Rogers and wife Cindy; sister, Charlotte Alford; special grandpuppy, Mannie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Alford, Todd Alford, Bubba Guiterrez, Gerald Bloxham, Roger Bloxham and Larry Whitlock.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
