Funeral Services for Stephanie Tidwell, 53, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church, West Monroe with Rev. Charles Dupree, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Tidwell was born June 21, 1957 and passed away November 27, 2010. Stephanie was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Her favorite past times were spending time with her family, traveling, and loving on her dog, Daisy. In her younger years, she was very active with horses, barrel racing, and enjoying those special times. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Caldwell; grandfather, Harvey Caldwell; and grandmother, Vera Caldwell.
Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 21 years, I.H. Tidwell of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Mandy Mayes of Dallas, TX; son, Josh Simpkins of West Monroe, LA; grandson, Christopher “Topher” Simpkins of West Monroe, LA; stepson, Dwayne Tidwell and step grandson, Issac Tidwell both of Houston, TX; sister, Alicia Cannon Bergeron and husband Kevin of Livonia, LA; two brothers, Cameron Cannon and Corey Cannon both of Baton Rouge, LA; mother, Marilyn Nectoux Cannon of Baton Rouge, LA; stepfather, Robert C. Cannon of Shreveport, LA; two nephews, Chance Bergeron and Cody Bergeron; and niece, Cassidy Bergeron all of Livonia, LA.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Bergeron, Chance Bergeron, and Cody Bergeron.
Visitation will be held at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Make A Wish Foundation.
