Troy Allen (Bubba) Burris

Funeral services for Troy Allen (Bubba) Burris, 56, of Monroe, will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Rhonda Feurtado officiating.

Mr. Burris was born May 17, 1957 in Alexandria, LA to Bill and Trudy Burris and died Tuesday, November 26, 2013. He was a retired track foreman and inspector for Union Pacific Railroad.

Mr. Burris was preceded in death by his father, Bill Burris.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Burris; daughters, Jeannie Lewis and husband Jeremy of West Monroe, and Jessica Green and husband Allan of West Monroe; son, Michael Burris of Monroe; grandchildren, Gavin Green, Gabriel Green, Javin Lewis, David Lewis, and Bella Lewis; mother, Trudy Burris of Conway, AR; brother, Randy Burris and wife Kay of Conway, AR; special son, Robert Rogers of Baton Rouge, LA; special daughter, Amanda Burris of Beekman, LA; special niece, Alexis Barnes; mother-in-law, Carolyn Ertel; sister-in-law, Amy Ertel.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
