Memorial services for Virginia Butler McKeithen, 88, of Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the First Baptist Church Feazel Chapel in West Monroe with Rev. Woods Watson officiating.
Mrs. McKeithen was born on August 26, 1925 in West Monroe and passed away on February 25, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey McKeithen; and brother, Howell Butler.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Solito and husband Chris, Stacy Cupp and husband Charles; grandchildren, Chelsea and William Solito, and Meredith and Caroline Cupp; brothers, I.H. Butler and wife Genea, Ronald Butler and wife JoAnn; sister, Barbara Simpson and husband Fred; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in West Monroe or to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
