Virginia Crowell HeckfordMulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Virginia Crowell Heckford, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 12, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe. Mrs. Virginia was born June 4, 1928 and passed away March 9, 2015. She was a member of Immanuel Worship and Fellowship. After retiring from Riverwood International, Virginia received her real estate license and then later became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ocie and Caroline Jackson; sister, Helen Beard; granddaughter, Shanna Ross; grandson, Jerry Vernon Crowell, Jr.; and great-grandson, William Priscok, III.Survivors include her children, Carolyn Trim and husband Mike, Charles “Buster” Crowell, Jr., Jerry Vernon Crowell, Robin Ross and husband Cecil, and Cindy Crowell Canterberry and husband Danny; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Adam Ross, Patrick Ross, Bill Hamilton, Paul Caples, Chad Heisler, Brandon Berkley, and Jeremy Berkley.
